Supporting the development of an OD plan to strengthen commissioning
CQCS is supporting commissioning organisations to develop Organisational Development Plans that will support the strengthening of commissioning beyond this year WCC Assurance Framework.
During a one day facilitated workshop CQCS supports staff from a cross section of the organisation to record evidence to demonstrate how key elements of commissioning are undertaken within the organisation:
- Assessment and Planning.
- Contracting and Procurement.
- Performance Management.
The CQCS assessment tool incorporates stakeholder engagement and Board accountability in to each of the three elements of commissioning.
Key areas of strength are identified alongside areas requiring development. Priority areas for development are identified along with longer term development needs.
