CQCS has now incorporated the World Class Commissioning (WCC) competencies into our commissioning diagnostic tool to provide PCTs and practice based commissioners with even more assistance to strenghten commissioning; gather evidence to inform the WCC assurance assessment and prepare to engage with FESC suppliers. Our range of support packages focus on providing critical and constructive challenge during an organisational self assessment of commissioning capaibilities and supporting the development and analysis of options to address any gaps in commissioning capabilities.
Package 1: Offers a tailored diagnostic workshop designed to identify internal strengths and challenges, along with underlying causes, and to develop a high level action plan to enable the PCT to move to a strengthened position.
Package 2: Incorporates Package 1 plus a second tailored workshop focused on developing solutions to address commissioning development needs including, determining what success would look like for the areas of development; linking commissioning development needs with organisation priorities and undertaking an options analysis for areas of development.
Package 3: This package incorporates the work of Package 2 and also includes an engagement event with key stakeholders and an organisational planning event.
